Discipline consequences
Classroom Rules

If a classroom rule is not followed or broken these are  actions taken starting from the least to most severe:


1.) Student will be called out of the situation.  (Possibly placed in a desk close to mine out in the hallway).

2.) Student/Teacher conference with direct corrections (extra time spent in school to make up for misplaced time in the classroom).

3.) Phone call or e-mail home to parents about behavior. 

4.) Parent conference, lunch detention and dropping the citizenship grade to an N.

5.) Discipline Referral to Assistant Principal or Principal.

After the A/P or P are called they have discipline options of their own.  Could be anything from:

6.) Special Assigment Classroom (SAC).

7.) Truant Officer called.

8.) Suspension from school.

or

9.) Expulsion from school.
1.) Respect yourself and others at all times (No name calling, use proper names, positive critques).

2.) Active listening at all times

3.) Active participation at all times

4.) Do assignments when due

5.) Bring all needed materials and supplies to class at all times

6.) Use equipment for its intended use
Classroom Procedures
1.) Turn in any work due in the "due-bin." 2.) Sit in assigned seat.
3.) Begin Bell work in spiral notebook immediately.
4.) Ms. Jackson starts class as soon as the bell rings.

All assignments are due at the beginning of class (unless we work on them during class.)

Absent or missed work can be found in the "missed work" binder that is located next to the assignment due/late bins or here on this website.
